I never set out to be an instructional designer—it found me. After earning my M.Ed. in Curriculum Design and Instruction in 2015, I started my career teaching high school English, later taking my skills overseas to teach English language learners of all ages. But my path took an unexpected turn when I landed in the defense sector, transforming dense, technical material into engaging, accessible learning experiences. That’s where I fell in love with the art and science of instructional design—the challenge of making complex content digestible, interactive, and impactful.

Since that fateful day, I've spent the past decade honing my craft, eventually finding my passion in e-learning development, video production, and collaborative content design. I thrive at the intersection of creativity and strategy, combining my love for organization and project management with a learner-first approach. Whether I’m storyboarding a new course, fine-tuning an LMS, or leading a team through a major training initiative, I bring order to chaos and ensure every learning experience is purposeful and engaging.

Now, as a Senior Instructional Designer, trainer, and project manager, I do it all. My background as a former content creator and podcast host gives me a unique edge in storytelling and engagement, and in my spare time, I’m a writer—currently working toward publishing my first book. At the heart of everything I do is a deep passion for learning that prioritizes the learner, because great training isn’t just about information—it’s about transformation.
